F.N.C.C. social news

The F.N.C.C., eager to develop a profitable social dialogue, works permanently with labour and management.

Negotiations and plans are proceeding in the following fields:

Local managers:

The national average commission rate has benefited from an increase and reached 6.5 % from January 1, 2010.

Amendment # 0609 of October 19, 2010 of the collective agreement regarding the status of the local managers.

Amendment # 0710 of March 16, 2010 of the collective agreement regarding the status of the local managers

wages:

2010 started in a difficult economic atmosphere. The negotiations regarding minimum wages didn’t lead to an agreement between labour and management. Then the FNCC decided to publish an employers’ recommendation, the text of which follows.

Recommendations of June 11, 2010.

Labour and management met in early March and May 2010 to reach new agreements about:

Classification:

In March 2010 the Commission Nationale Paritaire de l’Emploi (labour and management national committee for employment ) took global stock of the classification review in co-operatives as it was planned as soon as the agreement was signed. Agreements appear to have been honoured and the whole of the salaried people of the co-operatives have got a classification according to the new standards. Thus, the revision and updating process of the convention is being finalized.

Technical training:

At the same time, an important statement signed by four trade unions recalled the pre-eminence of the labour and management negotiation, of the Commission Nationale Paritaire de l’Emploi (labour and management national committee for employment) and of technical training over any other labour and management authority.

Labour and management statement.

Current and future negotiations:

The main current negotiation topic is the research of an agreement about how to tackle stress and social psychological disorders at work. The first meeting that was held concluded that it was necessary to establish a diagnosis of the situation. This diagnosis will be performed by a consultancy specialised in the field of working conditions.

From this report, shared by labour and management, the situation will be analysed in one co-operative after another. Then they will be able to study, negotiate, and reach agreements adapted to companies as necessary.

A meeting will be held in July in order to plan the signing of a national method agreement.

Labour and management have also worked within the framework of the Observatoire de l’ Emploi et des Qualifications for this line of business (observatory about jobs and qualifications). Several new research fields have been adopted particularly including job security.
